The Revolve vases are made by overlapping two volumes of different colors.
The relationship between the two parts is the basis of the geometric construction of the entire collection: the proportion between the upper and lower volumes is derived from the golden ratio, a constant that remains the same despite the fact that the two volumes overlap in always different ways, playing with height, diameter and chromatic gradations.
This mechanism generates a collection of vases that are similar and distinct at the same time, in which each piece has value individually, but can also benefit from the combination with the others and thus create an ‘architectural composition’ of colored vases.
