Brian Sironi Design Studio is an interdisciplinary practice working across industrial design and creative direction, developing projects at different scales.

Innovation is a key driver of the studio’s design practice.

Within product design, the studio often works by questioning established schemes and rethinking them through reduction, simplification or the integration of functions. The studio’s method develops from the analysis of product architecture and the observation of the way people interact with objects. This aspect of the work is summarized through the concept of empathic design practice.

In parallel, creative direction is approached as a process of narrative supervision, creating continuity across objects, spaces, communication and visual identity.

For the studio, every project is the result of a process of synthesis, where ideas take shape through clarity, proportion and attention to detail.

Bio

Brian Sironi is an Italian industrial designer graduated from Politecnico di Milano. Raised and educated in Brianza, a territory deeply connected to the manufacturing culture and history of Italian design, he started his professional path collaborating with artisans, manufacturers and professionals across the local production chain.

A period of research and study in the United States later contributed to expanding his perspective and approach to design. Upon returning to Italy, he founded Brian Sironi Design Studio in Milan.

In 2010 he was selected for The New Italian Design Reloaded exhibition at Triennale di Milano. In 2011 he received the ADI Compasso d’Oro award for the Elica lamp manufactured by Martinelli Luce, becoming one of the youngest designers ever to receive the recognition.
