Orbita is an indirect light floor lamp.
As in Eclisse by Vico Magistretti also in Orbita it is possible to adjust light’s intensity making use of the lamp’s shape.
The bright source is a LED strip 70 cm long and 60 W powerful, it is inserted in a red arm made of aluminium, which is the mobile element. The LED-arm rotates around the elliptical body of the lamp, changing its distance from it. The change of distance corresponds to the change of light: when the arm is in a central position, light is stronger, when it is on the sides, light becomes soft.
Orbita lamp allows passing from an intense light to a soft light, creating a various range of light effects.
When the arm covers its whole orbit, it achieves its on-off points, in fact the lamp has not switch device.
