After having employed the turning process for Fibonacci vases by Bitossi Ceramiche, Brian Sironi uses again the ceramics experimenting a novel manufacturing process for such material. The main idea is to employ ceramics as a unique” sheet” to fold and model without using moulds, through a hand process which becomes explicit in the generated shape. It is a research project, a vase obtained from a ceramic surface carefully folded, characteristic that gives the name to the vase: “Foglio (sheet)”, a simple vase created without using turning process and avoiding the building of moulds but using only material, only ceramic.
